Our EmailService System (EMS) will give you a head start in the right direction for establishing initial communication with our different members. From the moment you send an email, our staff is notified and works for you by contacting the members you wrote to so that you can get a prompt reply. One of the advantages that differentiate us from online introduction services, is the fact that we personally know every single member that has signed up with us; We interview and screen each single member, unlike online dating sites that accept any application. It is fairly easy for us to establish contact with our different members. The recipient members can come to our offices and reply to your message from our terminal computers, log onto a private internet site to read your message, personal bio info and see your pictures, or in the absence of internet they can reply to your message over the phone.

These are the instructions for understanding and using your new CommCenter.

Your CommCenter is divided in three sections: INBOX, OUTBOX and SEND MSG.

INBOX: Your INBOX will show the messages that other members have sent to you and that have been approved by LAI depending on your membership level.  From within your INBOX you can read or delete your messages.
Once you open your message to read it, you will see the details of the message (sender, date, subject, etc.). From here you can reply, save or delete the message.

OUTBOX: From this section you will see all messages that you have initiated or replied to.  From within OUTBOX you will be able to read, re-send, delete and click to view the tracking history for each message. You will be also able to see if your message has been read or not by the recipient. When you click to read an individual message, you will view the message you sent and in the bottom you will see a table showing the tracking history for that email. What is “tracking history” ?

Tracking history: With this table, you will see what is exactly happening to your messages. It will show you a record of dated events starting with when you sent the email. The different events you will see include:
-Time and date the email appear in the recipient’s inbox
- Time and date the message was translated (if applicable)
- All communication attempts with the recipient (we communicate with the recipient to notify them they have received a message from you so that they may reply back as soon as possible)
- The outcome of each attempt by the EMS staff to communicate such as successful notification, recipient not home, bad telephone line, recipient not interested, recipient no longer in program, etc.
- Time and date the message was viewed by the recipient.

The tracking history for each message will only end if any of the following conditions presents itself:
Recipient views the message, recipient acknowledges he/she is not interested, communication is not possible with recipient, recipient is no longer in program or if you, the sender, decides to manually terminate the tracking record for the message.

With this tracking history, you will be able to know what exactly is happening to all the messages you are sending, and stop guessing whether or not the recipient of the message has read it or not.

SEND MSG: This section will allow you to send messages to any LAI member. Depending on your membership level and current status, you will encounter different restrictions to send messages. Before we explain the restrictions, please bear in mind that our EmailService system is designed to establish initial communication at an efficient level. Also, because of Federal Regulations (International Marriage Broker Act of 2005) and because of our policy structure, exchange of personal contact information (i.e. address, phone number, etc.) is only allowed for Executive Members and Tour Members who have already provided us with certain information required by law and who have made the decision to travel to meet the members personally at a certain point.
Therefore depending on your membership delivery to recipient will be either immediate or need to be filtered and the number of characters you can write will be limited as follows:

Please be patient with replies to your emails. A good number of our lady members do not have ready and easy access to internet services, which we have come to depend on for fast communication.

Remember, the Internet membership and EmailService is primarily offered so that you get your feet wet. We want you to feel comfortable about taking the decision to meet the girls personally. That should be your goal. Don't just write to one, write to as many as you can.
